We are looking for a Kubernetes engineer to join our European team working on real-time collaboration projects with our international customers in cloud/hybrid/on-Premises installations. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise to facilitate and make recommendations for the deployment of containerized platform components, and reusable templates/libraries using Kubernetes, Rancher, AWS, and Azure.
The position is open for hire or consultant with a hybrid working model and flexible working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Provides second-level technical support. Response to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
- Install, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters using infrastructure as code
- Support the project team as needed$
- Continuously drive improvements in areas like performance, automation, quality, monitoring, and reliability of platforms
- Ability to deliver solutions for platform scaling, performance troubleshooting, service failover, and optimization
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Good knowledge of container technologies Docker / Kubernetes / PodMan
- Strong troubleshooting skills in container technologies and infrastructure components (Networking, Security, Storage)
- Experience in the development and maintaining of Ansible playbooks, HELM charts, Terraform for the deployment of infrastructure components, containers (Docker / Kubernetes / PodMan)
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment
- Experience with monitoring/logging systems
- Presentation and communication skills in German and English
